How should I store my coffee, matcha, pods, and cold brew, and how long do they stay fresh?Updated a month ago
Coffee
Our coffee is best enjoyed within three months of the roast date for optimal flavour and aroma. To keep it fresh:
- Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture—such as a cupboard or pantry.
- Keep it sealed in its original bag if resealable, or transfer it to an airtight container to protect it from oxygen and humidity.
- We don’t recommend keeping coffee in the fridge or freezer unless it’s properly stored in an airtight. The moisture can damage the beans and accelerate flavour loss, leading to a flat or dull brew.
Matcha
Matcha should be stored in a cool, dry place, ideally in an airtight container. Once opened, keep it away from light and air exposure to preserve its colour and flavour.
Pods
Pods are best stored in a cool, dark cupboard, away from direct sunlight and heat. There’s no need to refrigerate them.
Cold Brew
Cold brew should be stored in the fridge and consumed within the recommended time frame printed on the bottom of the can for the best taste and freshness.
