What is Kiss the Hippo Members?

This is our way of showing our appreciation. You’ll earn points for activities on our site, like referrals and purchases. You can use them to earn discounts and free products, so the more you collect the more you save.

How do I join?

By creating an account at kissthehippo.com, you are automatically enrolled in the programme.

How do I earn points?

You can earn points for all sorts of activities, including referring friends and making purchases. To see all the ways you can earn and redeem points, visit our Members Page or click the gift icon in the menu.

How do I view my point balance?

Simply log in to your account and click the gift icon at the top of the page to view your points balance.

How do I redeem my points?

Select the tab called Redeem Points. Here you’ll see all the rewards we offer. If you have enough points, you can redeem them for a reward.

Is there a limit to the number of points I can earn?

No, there’s no limit to earning loyalty rewards points! But the maximum reward voucher you can redeem per order is £100.

What happens if a friend I refer cancels or returns their order?

Your pending points will become cancelled and will be removed from your account.

Why did my account balance go down?

You, or someone you referred, cancelled or returned a purchase.

I completed an activity but didn’t earn points!

It can take up to one week for your points to be processed and appear in your account. You can always track your points and activity through the LoyaltyLion widget on our website. If it’s been more than a week and your points still haven’t appeared,

What happens if I leave and decide to join again?

If you’ve previously deleted your account and would like to join again, you’ll need to create a new account. Please note that your point total will start from zero, as points from a closed account cannot be recovered.

Can I use my points during checkout?

To use your points, simply redeem them via your membership page, where you’ll receive a discount code. You can then copy and paste this code at checkout. Please note: once redeemed, your code will either be for regular orders or subscriptions and can

Our membership programme is only valid for our online shop. Unfortunately, as our online and in-store systems operate separately, we’re not able to accept reward points in our cafés.
